This simulator is designed to fulfil the need of clinical education. It combines VR technology, posture and position capture technology, and simulated model together in one system, giving users an ideal training choice. Six major puncture operation can be trained – thoracentesis, abdominocentesis, lumbar puncture, bone marrow aspiration, pericardiocentesis, and thyrocricocentesis.

Skills Gained

· All the instruments and tools are modified on the basis of the real ones, providing highly simulated clinical operation experience to users. The 3D interface synchronizes with user’s operation and gives feedback and hint in real time

· Clear anatomical landmarks are presented on the model for users to practice

· The system provides operation instruction for users to train the whole procedure. Disinfection, anesthesia, and puncture can be practiced separately
